Vi možete da očekujete fantastičan provod uz ovu "zabavno-čudovišnu bajku" koja je "prava zabava za celu porodicu Adams" ("Njujork tajms") Smešten u svet u kojem svaki praznik ima svoju specijalnu zemlju film "Noćna mora pre Božića" govori o pogrešnoj strasti Džeka Skelingtona, obožavanog kralja Bundeve grada Noći veštica, koji nadgleda stvaranje svih jezovitih zadovoljstava, strahova i iznenađenja koje ovaj praznik tradicionalno izvozi u "stvarni svet". Nakon što mu je dosadila ta rutina, Džek pronalazi novi smisao u životu kada slučajno nabasa na ulaz u Božićgrad i istog trenutka postane fasciniran jarkim bojama, igračkama, ukrasima i toplinom koju tamo otkrije. Opsednut idejom da preuzme Božić pod svoju kontrolu, po povratku kući angažuje svoje podanike da mu pomognu da zameni Deda Mraza i napravi "novu i poboljšanu" verziju ovog praznika. Neće proći mnogo pre nego što Džek shvati da čak i najbolji planovi koje jedan kostur može da smisli mogu poći naopako.
